Sunset Surf has been operating as an online retail business since 2005. We have a great track record, with many happy customers that keep coming back to buy from us because we look after them properly!

We are a ‘real’ surf shop too, right on the beach in Gwithian, Cornwall (look us up!) run by surfers for surfers. We love talking to our customers to make sure you get the best possible advice before you part with your hard-earned cash, so please don’t hesitate to drop us an email or pick up the phone if you need help – that’s what we’re here for!

We’ve tried to make our online store as easy as possible to navigate, understand and use. This page is full of all the official (but necessary) legal stuff. Please take a moment to read through any of the sections below that may be relevant to you. We try our best to maintain the prices, details and availability of our products at all times but this cannot be guaranteed. If there is any problem with your order we will contact you to discuss alternatives. If this is the case and the goods are unable to be dispatched, you can of course cancel your order and we will refund any money you have been charged. Please note that product specifications are subject to change by the manufacturer at any time without notice.

Ordering & Payment

Ordering

Ordering from our online store couldn’t be simpler! All you need to do is click on the product you’d like to buy, choose the size, colour and quantity, and add it to your shopping basket.

When you have finished shopping, click the checkout button. If you have used our website before you can enter your email address and password and your previous details will be entered automatically.

If you are a new customer then you simply enter your details for the first time – no need to register.

Once you have completed your address details you will be taken into the payment screen, if there are any special comments that you would like to make about the delivery please include them here.

Confirm your order – check the items, payment method, billing and delivery address are correct then hit the ‘SUBMIT MY ORDER’

Payment

We accept the following debit/credit cards for payment: Master Card, Visa, Maestro and Solo

Verifone and SagePay are our payment processors for credit or debit cards.

If you have a PayPal account you can use your account by clicking on the PayPal option.

Card Payment

Insert all your card details on the payment page. If your card uses the Verified by Visa or Mastercard Secure Code scheme, you may need to enter your password to verify the transaction. Once you have completed the transaction you will be returned to our online store. You will receive a confirmation email with your order number and receipt number. If you do not receive an email confirmation please contact us immediately.

Once your order has been picked, packed and dispatched you will receive an email with the tracking information.

If there are problems with the payment please contact our staff in the surf shop, using the details located under the home tab and we can arrange another method of payment.

Paypal Payment

If you have a PayPal account you can insert your username and PayPal password and use your account as you normally would.

Once you have completed the transaction you should click the return to merchant button which will take you back to the sunset-surf.com website. You will receive two confirmation emails with your order number and receipt number. The emails will come from service@paypal.co.uk. If you do not receive notification please contact us immediately.

Once your order has been picked, packed and dispatched you will receive an email with the tracking information.

If there are problems with the payment please contact our friendly staff in the surf shop, using the details located under the home tab and we can arrange another method of payment.

Promo Coupons/Codes

If you have a valid promotional Coupon Code then you can enter it into the coupon code box on the payment page and your order will be discounted accordingly – please be sure to check the expiry date on the coupon as they often run for a limited time period only. They will sometimes only be available on certain brands or product categories, so please check the items you have chosen are eligible for the coupon code discount.

Tax

Most items we sell have 20% VAT added onto them, the tax breakdown should be clear to see during checkout. Some items are zero rated and will be listed as such. If you have any questions regarding this please contact a member of staff by email, telephone or post.

Returns & Exchanges

If for any reason you would like to return any unused products (in original packaging), please contact us for an RMA number using the returns link at the bottom of the website

Items must be returned within 28 days from date of purchase.

Items must be returned unopened with all their tags and in the same packaging they arrived in.

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for Jewellery, Underwear or Swimwear, nor for sealed items such as DVDs or Books.

Clearly mark the returned item(s) with the returns address and ensure that your returns number is clearly in view.

Within the package include any exchange information that you require.

You the customer are responsible for all return delivery costs unless an item has been delivered to you either faulty or incorrectly.

If you have received an item that is faulty or sent incorrectly, please contact us and we will refund the cost of any postage due.

Sunset Surf advise that you return items via Royal Mail recorded delivery as this will provide you with a tracking number and insurance for the item you are returning.

All exchanges will be shipped out via Royal Mail 2nd class, unless otherwise agreed with a Sunset Surf member of staff. This may be charged at an additional cost, at Sunset Surf’s discretion.

Sunset Surf cannot accept responsibility for items that are not returned by recorded delivery.

Upon inspection of returned product, Sunset Surf will issue a full refund to the card used for the purchase less the original delivery charge.

Any used items will be denied a refund and returned to you at your expense.

Warranty items are subject to inspection and only eligible for repair, replacement or disposal.

Warranty

All products purchased from Sunset Surf carry the full manufacturer warranty unless sold as a “no warranty” item. If you wish to return an item purchased from Sunset Surf to be repaired or replaced under the manufacturer warranty, we ask that you make this clear when you contact us. We will work with the manufacturer on your behalf to help you get a satisfactory outcome. In the event that the manufacturer is no longer in business, Sunset Surf will review your warranty claim and at our discretion help to provide an equitable solution. All warranty claims may only be made by the purchaser on record. Please contact us by telephone or email regarding any warranty questions.
